Vegan sourdough kanelbullar with cinnamon & sugar

Zutaten


227 g sourdough starter
200 g soy milk
57 g vegan butter
400 g wheat flour
50 g cinnamon sugar
1 pinch of salt


For the filling:
160 g cane sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon sugar
28 g vegan butter

Zubereitung

Preparation with our wheat flour and cinnamon sugar :

  1. Prepare the dough : Knead the sourdough starter, soy milk, vegan butter, wheat flour, cinnamon sugar, and salt until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rest in a warm place for 4-6 hours.
  2. Mix the filling : Mix together the cane sugar, cinnamon sugar, salt and vegan butter.
  3. Form the kanelbullar : Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread the filling on it, and carefully roll it up. Cut into approximately 4 cm wide slices.
  4. Baking : Place the rolls on a baking tray and bake at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
