Open the freshness seal and pour the baking mix into a large bowl or a Thermomix mixing bowl.
Then add 400 ml of water to the baking mix (see water line in the can) and whisk using a whisk or food processor. Let it stand for 5 minutes.
Heat a shallow pan on the stove to medium heat and coat with a little butter or vegetable fat.
Using a ladle, ice cream scoop, or spoon (2 tablespoons per serving), drop small blobs into the hot pan and cook the winter pancakes on each side over medium heat for about 1 minute until bubbles form.
Depending on your preference, the hot pancakes can be served with maple syrup, granola and fresh berries or other toppings of your choice.
