Waffles with vegan maple butter

For the waffles:
320 ml (vegan) milk
60g butter or 1 tbsp neutral sunflower oil
3 eggs for a classic version

For the maple butter:
100g vegan butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 pinch of vanilla

Zubereitung

Preparation with the organic baking mix organic waffles

  1. Open the freshness seal Open and pour the baking mix into a large bowl or into a Thermomix mixing bowl.
  2. Classic version: Gently heat 60g of butter either in a saucepan or in the microwave (at low wattage) for 30 seconds each until the butter dissolves and then whisk it together with the milk or buttermilk (see milk and buttermilk line in the can) and the 3 eggs using a whisk, food processor or Thermomix (level 5, 30 seconds) and leave to swell for about 5 minutes.
    Vegan version: Add 320ml vegan milk (see milk line in the can) and 1 tbsp neutral oil or coconut fat and whisk for 1 minute with the food processor, hand mixer or Thermomix (speed 5, 10 sec.) and let it swell for about 5 minutes.
  3. Preparation of waffles:
    Grease the waffle iron and, using a ladle, pour the waffle mixture into the hot waffle iron and bake for about 4-5 minutes, depending on the desired degree of crispiness.

Preparation of the vegan maple butter:

Mix all ingredients, including 100 g vegan butter (room temperature), 2 tablespoons maple syrup and 1 pinch of vanilla until creamy, sweeten to taste and spread on the warm waffles.
