So easy to bake
It’s so easy to bake 1 wild garlic bread:
- Open the freshness seal and pour the baking mix into a bowl.
- Add 275 ml of lukewarm water (see water line in the can) and knead the dough by hand, with a food processor or with the Thermomix for about 3 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place (approx. 24 °C) for approx. 30 minutes.
- Place the dough on a floured work surface and knead briefly.
- Using a dough scraper, fold the dough from the edges towards the middle, shape it into a round shape and place it with the smooth side down in a floured proving basket or with the smooth side up on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Dust the dough with a little flour and cover it and let it rest in a warm place (approx. 24 °C) for about 1-2 hours. Shortly before the end of the resting time, preheat the oven to 230 °C top and bottom heat.
- Turn the dough out of the proving basket onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Then cut into the top of the dough with a sharp knife or blade. Important: the cuts must be deep enough so that the steam can escape easily.
- Bake the bread at 230 °C top and bottom heat for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 190 °C and bake for a further 35 minutes.
- Serve the finished wild garlic bread and enjoy!
