So easy to bake
It’s so easy to bake 2 trays of cookies or 1 tart:
- Open the freshness seal and pour the baking mix into a large bowl.
- Cut 165 g cold butter into small pieces, separate 1 egg and add the egg yolk to the baking mixture in the bowl. Knead into a dough by hand, with a food processor or with the Thermomix for about 2-3 minutes.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for about 60 minutes or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 170 °C top/bottom heat (cookies) or 190 °C top/bottom heat (tart). Line baking trays or tart tins with baking paper.
- Tart/Pie: Sprinkle the work surface and dough with flour, roll out the dough thinly and put it into a tart/pie tin, pulling up the edge and pricking the dough several times with a fork so that no bubbles form during baking. Pre-bake for 10 minutes at 190°C. Fill as desired and finish baking for approx. 30 minutes at 170°CCookies: Sprinkle the work surface and dough with flour and roll out the dough to a thickness of about 5 mm. Cut out the cookies using a cookie cutter and place them on the baking sheets. Bake one after the other on the middle shelf (depending on the size of the cookies) for about 10-15 minutes until they turn light brown. Allow to cool briefly and remove from the baking sheet. Sprinkle, decorate or fill the cookies as desired.
