With our fine organic baking mix for vanilla crescents with organic walnuts, you can conjure up the traditional Christmas pastry in no time. This is how you can quickly and easily prepare wintery vanilla crescents that taste like Christmas.

So easy to bake
It’s so easy to bake 2 baking trays of organic vanilla crescents:
- Open the freshness seal, take out the bag with the vanilla icing sugar and put it to one side. Pour the organic baking mix into a large bowl.
- Cut 110 g of cold butter into small pieces and add it to the baking mix in the bowl. Knead into a dough by hand, with a food processor or with the Thermomix for about 1 minute.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and chill for about 60 minutes or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat. Line baking trays with baking paper.
- Form the dough on a floured work surface into a roll about 3 cm thick and cut into pieces about 1 cm thick (the size of a nut). Roll the dough into sticks between the palms of your hands and shape them into crescents and place them on the baking trays lined with baking paper.
- Bake in the oven on the second rack from the bottom for about 10-15 minutes, until the ends are lightly browned.
- Pour the vanilla sugar mixture into a small sieve and sprinkle the still warm vanilla crescents with the sugar mixture. Allow the crescents to cool for about 10 minutes.

Tips
The vanilla crescents can be eaten immediately and will last for at least 8 weeks if stored in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
