So easy to bake

Baking instructions for pizza dough:

  1. Open the seal, remove the bag of Italian spices and put it aside. Pour the baking mix into a large bowl.
  2. Add 400 ml of cold water (see water line in the can) and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Knead the dough by hand, with a food processor or with a Thermomix for about 7 minutes.
  3. The quick pizza dough: Put the dough in a bowl, cover with cling film or a damp cloth and let it rest in a warm place (approx. 24 °C) for 1 h – 3 h.
  4. The slow, original Italian pizza dough: Put the dough in a bowl, cover with cling film or a damp cloth and place in the fridge. Leave to rest in the fridge overnight or for up to 5 days. Before further processing, take the dough out of the fridge and leave to rest in a warm place (approx. 24 °C) for 1 - 2 hours.
  5. Preheat the oven, if available with the pizza stone, to 250 °C using top and bottom heat or pizza setting, or preheat the grill with the pizza stone to 350 °C.
  6. Now is the perfect time to prepare the pizza sauce. Simply mix the enclosed bag of pizza seasoning into the strained tomatoes. You can also prepare the remaining ingredients, such as the cheese!
  7. Put flour on a clean work surface. Divide the pizza dough at room temperature into three equal-sized pieces and shape each into a ball. Roll the dough balls in flour and shape them into pizzas on a floured surface. Do not use a rolling pin, use your hands instead. Press the dough from the inside out. Be careful not to touch the edge. The aim is to create a flat dough that is thin in the middle and thick at the edge. The edge can then bake softly in the oven.
  8. Baking tray: Place pizza dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper, first cover with the prepared pizza sauce and then with the cheese and desired toppings.
  9. Pizza stone: Place the pizza dough on the work surface (or on baking paper if you don't have a pizza peel) first with the prepared pizza sauce and then with the cheese and the desired toppings.
  10. Oven: Baking tray: Bake the pizza at 250 °C for approx. 12 minutes until golden brown. Only put one baking tray in the oven at a time. Pizza stone: Dust the preheated pizza stone with flour, place the pizza in the middle using a pizza peel (or baking paper) and bake at 250 °C for approx. 10 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Griller: Dust the preheated pizza stone with flour, place the pizza in the middle using a pizza peel (or baking paper), close the grill lid and bake for about 4-5 minutes at 350 °C until golden brown.
